Friday January 4th Special P.A.P.A. Alliance Black Hided SaleResults from the Special P.A.P.A Alliance Blackhided New Crop Calf/Yearling Sale Friday January 4th.. Here this past Friday we kicked off the new year with a really nice sale of high quality cattle .
The sale was front end loaded with many long strings of the finest reputation cattle produced by the finest cattlemen/cattlewomen in the Tri State Region..
With a house full of Buyers on the seats we sold 3,268 head on a market that was fully steady to higher on pretty much all classes of cattle ..
It sure appears in the weeks coming ahead that this market is at least looking to keep working its way north as we get ready to watch the grass weight buyers enter into the market full swing with an already shorter supply of grass weight yearling makers in the mix.
It appears the middle and heavier weight cattle will remain steady to possibly higher as the fed cattle remain on good ground backed by a strong futures market(for what that's even worth anymore)..
Being the last P.A.PA Alliance Sale of the season we would sure like to thank all Buyers/Sellers alike who came together to make these sales such a success. In its 3 sales combined we sold over 13,500 head of cattle that you wouldn't buy any better anywhere in the country and were placed everywhere in the country from locally to every cattle feeding state that feeds one.
The quality and proper handling of these cattle was tremendous and is a true testament to the hard work and effort set forth that has put our little part of the world in the cow/calf industry on the United States map for years now running with many more to come.
And finally a SPECIAL Thank You to our Team here at Bloomington Livestock Exchange for the amazing behind the scene work they all do from the office to the back to the ring and everywhere in between... So many times I wonder how they roll through the volume of cattle they do with the week in and week out accuracy and efficiency they achieve, they are an amazing group people in all they do.
Great job to all and once again Thank You!!
