June 14th Summer Hol/Beef Combo Feeder Sale

Results from the Summer Holstein/Beef Combination Feeder Cattle Sale Friday, June 14th.

Here this past Friday we had a nice sale selling 2,328 head on a market that was quite a bit lower on the 900 head of Holstein Steers compared to 3 weeks ago due in part to a sinking Future’s market on the cattle and a rising Future’s market on the corn. 

The quality was definitely a factor and the nice bunches of high quality Holsteins  were still in strong demand..

The 1428 head of Beef Cattle we would call fully steady and demand was very strong on the cattle of quality that were properly handled as we are definitely into shorter availability now until fall.. 

The next Summer Combination Holstein Steer/Beef Feeder Cattle Sale will be in 2 weeks Friday, June 28th starting time 9am sharp with Holsteins followed by the Beef Cattle.
