Friday, February 7th Beef Feeder Cattle SaleThis past friday, we sold 2,410 cattle at our All Beef Feeder Cattle Sale. Again, we had a full house of buyers with ideal weather conditions taking these high quality cattle to their new destinations all over the Midwest. The martket was in strong hands with buyers starting to seek out their grass cattle. The cattle carrying nice, open haired and in green condition led the market. While the fleshy cattle carrying some mud took the backseat. Lack of bedding seems to be the common theme around the country. The CME has handed us nothing but a steady decline in the futures the last 3 weeks and it seems to have a very little affect on the grass cattle needs but does put some pressure on the heavier cattle. Thanks again to all our Buyers, Sellers and reliable truckers for helping move these catlle in and out of BLE week after week.
