Friday, Special Beef New Crop Calf/Yearling Sale Featuring PAPA Red Angus/Hereford SaleResults from Special Fall Roundup New Crop Calf/ Yearling Sale Friday November 20th.. Here this past Friday we had a really nice sale selling 1,746 head on a market that was steady to somewhat higher on the steer calves and $5-$10 higher on the heifer calves. We had a really nice section of high quality Red Angus calves that was featured in this sale with really good demand.
The demand was good all the way around on the cattle of quality that were properly handled..
We also had a decent run of yearlings that were pretty much packages that sold steady with the bigger groups in hot demand with a load lot of black 905# steers off grass fetching $142..
Next Saturday November 28th will be a combination Holstein and Beef Sale with the Holsteins starting at 9am sharp to be followed by the Beef Cattle.
Thanks to all Buyers/Sellers alike who came together for a nice sale again.
Wishing all a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
