Results from the “Special All Holstein & Dairy Cross” Feeder Cattle Sale: Friday, March 24^th, 2016

This past Friday, we sold a total of 624 Holstein Feeder Cattle. As we continue to see the fat cattle climb into the upper 30’s range on the beef, & the Holstein fat cattle selling in the mid $Dollar to $1.10, we are seeing this Holstein feeder market starting to follow suit. The light Holstein feeders have picked up some steam in the past month through current. The lighter cattle were $10 to even $20 higher in areas. The cattle weighing 600# & up, remained steady with good demand. As we knock on the green grass door, we anticipate a steady to even possibly gradual increase as we get closer and closer to May.
