Here this past Friday we had a good run of cattle selling 1,482 head on a market that was steady to somewhat lower on all weights of Holstein Steers.. Partly due in part to an eagerness of trying to wrap up this harvest with plenty of corn and beans left in the fields and also the reality that winter is upon us with rain and snow in the forecast..
Demand was still pretty good on the cattle of quality that were properly handled but it is definitely getting to be a tougher sell on the non vaccinated and thinner plainer Holstein Steers with winter setting in...
