Friday November 10th Feeder SaleResults from the Special All Beef Roundup Feeder Cattle Sale Friday November 10th..
Here this past Friday we had a nice run selling 2,298 beef cattle on a market that was sure lower in light of an entire really rough week on the futures trade but interest was still good on the higher quality cattle that were properly handled..
I will do my best to give you the most accurate market report I can on today's sale but it's a really tough market to report as there were many very small packages all the way up to decent sized groups and the variation in quality was very wide throughout.. It's really hard to make a fair comparison to the prior week with a sale that was loaded with many larger strings... We sold about 1600 more cattle last week in the same amount of time this week just to give you an idea..
But overall the market is still good and interest remains really good also with a large corn crop pretty much in the bin and lots of great bedding put up..
Hoping for a little reprieve in these futures next week as we move forward to remove this past week's uncertainty...
The next Special Early Winter All Beef Roundup Feeder Cattle Sale will be in two weeks from tomorrow SATURDAY November 25th starting time 9am sharp..
This sale we moved to Saturday so that all could enjoy their Thanksgiving Holiday with family...
