Results from the Special "Back to Grass " Roundup All Holstein Steer/Dairy Cross Feeder Cattle Sale Friday May 11th..

Here this past Friday we had a really nice sale with many nice bunches of properly handled, high quality cattle selling 1,105 head on a market that was steady to stronger from 2 weeks ago . Maybe some compliments to Mother Nature turning the grass green compared to 2 weeks ago where she had it pretty much white yet with the weather really ugly wondering if she was ever going to deliver Spring.

But Spring has sprung, the grass is green and the psychology is now much better throughout the buyer sector..

The demand was defintely strong for high quality cattle in nice bunches..

But the feeder Holstein Steer market still is quite sluggish on comparison to the beef feeder cattle market which has defintely caught a positive gear of strength as we move into shorter available numbers...

The next Special "Back to Grass" Roundup Holstein Steer/Dairy Cross Feeder Cattle Sale will be in 2 weeks, Friday May 25th starting time 9am sharp...
